What can Reiki do for you?

Reiki has become better known over the years and is proving to be an increasingly more chosen modality to support wellbeing.  A growing body of research is showing us how Reiki is becoming more integrated across mainstream healthcare environments for physical symptom management and increasingly for psychological support.  As it is a low impact modality, it is simply a beautiful approach for all, at any stage of life and for a range of reasons.

What is Reiki

Reiki is a form of energy healing, often described as palm healing or hands-on-body healing in which a practitioner places their hands lightly on or over a client's body to facilitate the client’s process of healing.

Reiki is based on a “life force energy” flowing through each of us…if this ‘energy’ is low, then we are more likely to feel unwell or stressed…if the energy is high we are more capable of being happy and healthy & leading fulfilling lives.

Reiki is a non-invasive & natural approach for strengthening & rebalancing mind, body, and emotions.

What to expect during your session

The primary aim of your Reiki treatment is relaxation. At the start of the first session your practitioner will have a short consultation with you, to take a brief medical history, and ascertain your well being goals, and the focus for your session.

Reiki is received fully clothed, and comfortable reclined on a massage couch.

Reiki is delivered through a practitioner who has been attuned, and who uses specific sacred symbols with hand positions to channel universal energy from one to another.
